Our genetics unit aims to help students develop a coherent understanding about Gel Electrophoresis, DNA Separation and DNA Sequencing. Students perform experiments for each subunit to gain better knowledge about each process.
This topic intends to assist students explore our ecosystem and different organisms living within it. Students also understand the interactions between organisms and conduct quantitative study of abiotic factors. Furthermore, students gain first-hand experience of numerous field work techniques.
Microfluidics is a novel Biotech tool that allows us to mimic different human organs on chips. Microfluidic is undoubtedly the future of Biotechnology. Through this unit, students learn more about this technology by modelling our respiratory system and drug studies through prototyping and designing their own devices.
